Contact the Friends of Moorfields by calling 020 7251 1240 or send an email saying that you are interested to moorfields.friends@nhs.net
The Friends team will have meet up with you to explain the roles and application process. We will also give you a Volunteer Agreement to complete.
Fill in the Volunteer Agreement and email it back to the Friends. They will pass it onto Moorfields Human Resources department, who’ll help you complete any checks you may need to do to become an official Moorfields Volunteer.
Fill in the form and email it to moorfields.friends@visually.org.uk
Once all the checks are completed, the Friends team will be in touch to arrange your start date.

We have been volunteering for 6 months at Moorfields.
I Volunteer in the Children’s A&E, and help people with their appointments...
I usually volunteer at the Children’s A&E and front reception.
The Friends of Moorfields are indeed very friendly.
You can help adults and elderly people when they come to the eye clinic, particularly with using our digital resources. Or you can join one of our Young People’s groups – we have one that gives researchers advice on their projects, and one that gives the hospital advice on how to run clinics for children and young people.
